Nightmare on Sesame Street
While Hang Loose Live was on the air, the team was inspired to produce and shoot a short film. Using well-crafted life-sized Bert and Ernie Halloween costumes, and advancing the Iron First Ernie storyline from Hang Loose, Evil Bert was introduced in the satirical horror film Nightmare on Sesame Street.
This first venture into more advanced production and storytelling was more self-taught student film than polished production. In 2019, over 30-years after the original production, I remastered a VHS copy of the film into a restored HD version, applying decades of experience to update every possible element for a new audience.
